Would you like to know what dental hygiene benefits you can claim in 2026? We have prepared an overview of the current benefits offered by health insurance companies (VZP, OZP, ČPZP, 211, VOZP, ZPMV), which can help you save on professional dental care.
VZP (111) – via Moje VZP using a computer
In 2026, VZP will contribute CZK 500 to adult policyholders for treatment by a dental hygienist. Children can draw up to CZK 2,000 and blood donors up to CZK 1,000. The contribution can only be drawn online in the Moje VZP application. The condition for payment is that you have undergone a preventive examination by a general practitioner in the last 24 months.
- Open moje.vzp.cz and log in (ideally via BankID or NIA). If you do not have an account yet, select Registration and complete it according to the instructions.
- In the application, select the option Request for a contribution from the prevention fund (Moje VZP will guide you through the form).
- Select the Prevention Reward programme → Physical activity and dental hygiene.
- Upload proof of payment and submit your application. The form is only available in Moje VZP.
Tip: The form will only be available in the application after the necessary preventive examinations have been registered in the VZP system. It may take several weeks for the doctor to submit the report.
OZP (207) Adults – via VITAKARTA (1:1 credits)
In 2026, the industry health insurance company will contribute up to CZK 1,000 towards dental hygiene. For adults, the contribution is paid in the form of credits at a ratio of 1:1 to the cost of treatment (up to the amount of credits accumulated).
- Sign up for VITAKARTA (web version or mobile app).
- Go to Bonuses → Benefits Catalogue → Dental Hygiene.
- Upload your receipt, confirm the use of credits (1:1) and send.
Children (coupon)
Children insured with OZP can use a coupon for dental hygiene in the amount of CZK 500 to CZK 1,000 (depending on the current offer of the fund) in 2026. 50% of the receipt price is reimbursed.
- Log in to VITAKARTA and go to Bonuses → Benefits Catalogue → Dental Hygiene Voucher.
- Fill in the application for your child, upload the receipt (not older than 3 months) and send it.
ČPZP (205) - Via the website – Electronic counter
In 2026, Česká průmyslová zdravotní pojišťovna (Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company) will contribute up to CZK 500 towards dental hygiene. To be eligible, you must have had a preventive check-up with your GP in the last 2 years. The proof of payment must not be older than 3 months.
- Open portal.cpzp.cz and log in.
- In the left-hand menu, select Insured Persons → Preventive Programmes / Reimbursement.
- Click on New application and select Dental hygiene.
- Fill in your account number, upload proof of payment and submit.
ZPMV (211) - Via the website – E-communication
In 2026, the Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic provides adults with a contribution of CZK 500. Children and young people under the age of 18 can draw up to CZK 1,500. Under certain conditions, parents can transfer their contribution to their child.
- Go to zpmvcr.cz, click on E-communication and log in.
- In the left-hand menu, select Insured Person → Application for reimbursement from the Prevention Fund.
- Select the Dental Hygiene programme.
- Upload proof of payment and submit your request.
VOZP (201) - Via the website – Client portal
The Military Health Insurance Company contributes up to CZK 500 per year to dental hygiene in 2026. Blood and bone marrow donors can draw on contributions of up to several thousand crowns under special programmes.
- Open the VoZP Client Portal and log in.
- Go to Contributions to prevention → Request for contribution.
- Select Dental Hygiene, upload the document and submit the application.
