Lenka came to The Clinic with many years of unresolved dental problems – and above all with a pronounced dental phobia that stemmed from childhood trauma. Our first task was to gain her trust and divide the treatment into gradual, manageable steps.
Treatment plan step by step
From the beginning, we structured the treatment so that each visit had a clear beginning and end, and so that Lenka knew in advance exactly what to expect. We started with thorough dental hygiene and treatment of basic problems. This was followed by extraction of non-salvageable teeth including oral surgical management of wisdom teeth.
Endodontics, implants, gum surgery
The key phase included root canal treatment under microscope, placement of dental implants and gum procedures to stabilize tissues and improve smile aesthetics. Each phase proceeded with sufficient time for preparation and regeneration, so the patient was not under pressure.
Prosthetic reconstruction
Finally, we created new crowns that restored both function and appearance to the dentition. The overall result is a testament to the patient's patient cooperation and the specialist team – and above all proof that even a person with pronounced phobia can undergo complex reconstruction if the treatment is conducted with care.
"At this clinic, they helped me step by step with extractions, dental implants, gum procedures, and new crowns."
Treating team: MDDr. Tomáš Pražák (extractions, oral surgery, implants), MUDr. Daniel Ott (endodontics under microscope), MDDr. Jakub Hladík (prosthodontics and final reconstruction)
