Treatment under anesthesia and analgosedation

What is analgosedation?

Analgosedation is a method that combines sedation and analgesia, i.e. calming and pain relief.

Analgosedation is a method that combines sedation and analgesia, i.e. calming and pain relief, during dental or other medical procedures. This method of treatment allows the patient to remain conscious but in a relaxed and pain-free state, which is ideal for patients who are afraid or concerned about pain but do not require full general anaesthesia.

How does analgesic sedation work?

  • Preoperative examination: The doctor will examine the patient's health and decide on the appropriate procedure.
  • Administration of sedatives: Sedatives are administered intravenously, causing relaxation and calmness, but the patient remains conscious.
  • During the procedure: The patient feels no pain and is in a calm state, cooperating with the doctor.
  • After the procedure: After the procedure, the patient rests at the clinic and then leaves accompanied by someone to take them home.

Advantages of analgosedation:

  • Faster recovery than with general anaesthesia.
  • The patient remains conscious, which is suitable for simpler procedures.
  • Painless treatment without the need for general anaesthesia.
  • Safety and comfort, all under the careful supervision of specialists.

If you are concerned about pain or afraid of dental procedures, analgosedation is a great choice for your comfort and peace of mind.
