Dental Implants

I am missing a tooth

A missing tooth affects the entire dentition, as the surrounding and opposing teeth tend to fall into the gap.

A missing tooth affects the entire dentition, as the surrounding and opposing teeth tend to fall into the gap, and after a few years, gaps may form between other teeth as well.

A condition in which teeth protrude from the gums into the opposite jaw in order to have something to rest on is called supraocclusion. Reconstruction of the dentition under such conditions is often complex and time-consuming.

A long-term missing tooth causes problems

A much more serious problem with a long-term missing tooth is the collapse of the gum and bone volume, which decreases more and more over time. The possibility of inserting a dental implant becomes more complicated and requires more treatment, such as bone augmentation or correction of the soft tissues/gums around the implant.

Solutions for missing teeth

Are you concerned that you are not an ideal candidate for dental implants? In addition to dental implants, a fixed zirconium bridge can also be a good solution. We manufacture highly aesthetic bridges with an intermediate member that is embedded in the gums so that food does not get stuck under the bridge. However, this requires that the surrounding teeth are 100% functional.

The cheapest solution is a removable denture, which has its advantages and disadvantages. Dentures are removable and are usually chosen when age or health reasons prevent the patient from undergoing surgical treatment, or as an economical solution.

Dental replacements (crowns and bridges)

The loss of several teeth can be easily and quickly replaced with dental implants, made even easier with the ALL in 2 concept, i.e. everything in 2 visits to a definitive solution. Depending on the condition of your teeth, you will either leave the clinic with a crown immediately or within 2.5 months at the latest.

Replacing a missing tooth with a dental implant

If you have a tooth that cannot be saved, ask your dentist about immediate implantation after tooth extraction. This is a very popular method today, where you get a tooth replacement without the need for further visits and treatment. Inserting an implant immediately after tooth extraction creates conditions where the tooth is aesthetically, functionally and, above all, sensationally indistinguishable from your own teeth.

Complete dental reconstruction

With today's modern technologies, using 3D scanners and programmes for precise planning of individual procedures in the mouth, all of the above-mentioned treatments are performed with precision, taking into account the functionality and durability of the resulting dentition.
