What is a dental bridge?
The loss of one or more teeth is not just an aesthetic problem. It also affects proper chewing, speech, and the health of surrounding teeth. A dental bridge is a traditional and reliable method to replace missing teeth without the need for implants, restore chewing function, and regain a confident smile.
With us, you will get a bridge that not only fits perfectly but also looks like your natural teeth. We use the most modern technologies, 3D scanning, and our own dental laboratory, which allows us to have the entire process under control – from the initial examination to the placement of the finished bridge.
How does reconstruction using a dental bridge work?
After an initial consultation and digital 3D scan, we prepare the teeth around the missing tooth, which will serve as support for the new dental bridge. We then manufacture it in our own laboratory from high-quality all-ceramic material so that it is strong, durable, and aesthetically perfect. The entire process is gentle, quick, and precisely tailored to your dentition.
Thanks to our own experienced laboratory, the bridge is made within a few days, looks natural, is fully functional, and fits perfectly on your teeth.
What does a dental bridge look like and when is it used?
A dental bridge is a fixed replacement that replaces a missing tooth by being attached to adjacent teeth. It is made in one piece and consists of a pontic (which replaces the missing tooth) and two crowns on the abutment teeth. A bridge can be used both in the back part of the dentition and on the front teeth, where maximum emphasis is placed on aesthetics. We use highly aesthetic materials that perfectly match the natural shade of your teeth.
Adhesive dental bridge – an alternative to the classic dental bridge
- Adhesive dental bridge – is a gentler option where a ceramic tooth replacing the missing tooth is fixed using a ceramic wing to an adjacent tooth, without the need for significant grinding of surrounding teeth. Thanks to modern fixation materials, long-term stable attachment of the bridge to the tooth is ensured. The adhesive dental bridge is used primarily as a replacement for teeth in the front section of the dentition.
- Classic dental bridge – the most common variant, supported by two adjacent teeth.
- Temporary dental bridge – a temporary solution, for example after tooth extraction, until the final bridge is made.
